Both the boys and girls won their football tournaments. William Ransom Vs Wilshere Dacre On the 26th of September William R played Wilshere Dacre after school. William Ransom Vs Wilshere Dacre B Team On Tuesday the 26th of October the William Ransom B team played against Wilshere Dacre B team. Girl's Football Rally On the 29th of September a team of 8 girls went to Wilshere Dacre at 8:40 to play six 10 minute games. Week 5 in Year 2 Week 5 in Year 2 has been a fun one. We have enjoyed dance, football and indoor athletics in PE. Blog of the Week from Chestnut and Cherry Class This week at William Ransom School, we had a lot of interesting and fun things happen. Harvest Festival Thank you to everyone who brought produce in for our Harvest Festival this year. We had a wonderful array of fruit and vegetables. Celtic Harmony visit Maple class visited Celtic Harmony camp recently to experience the Stone Age. Building Tudor Houses Everyone has settled well into Holly class and are getting used to the new routines and independence expected in Year 1. Brilliant Badminton Coach and ex international player, Anna Collis, has been coaching badminton to Willow Class. Week 2 and 3 in Year 2 Year 2 have had a busy past two weeks! Pirates take over Ash class Today the children in Ash class seemed to have been replaced by pirates!! Castle Assembly Holly performed their class Assembly in front of the whole school. They remembered their lines perfectly and spoke loud enough for everyone to hear! They also showed off their completed 3D castles. Macbeth Cherry and Chestnut Class have been studying the work of William Shakespeare. This week was all about Macbeth.
