Against all the odds, we woke to glorious sunshine this morning and so it remained all day. Beech class have had an enjoyable five weeks learning and practising their Batucada patterns and finally got to share it with the rest of the school today. It was a creative spring term in Beech! Beech class have been getting very creative lately. They finished their penguin jazz dance in PE and learnt how to play samba for their drumming performance, but they have also worked on dramatising the stories from a wide range of books. County Dance Festival On Wednesday 6th of March, fifteen children from across key stage one and two travelled to St Albans Arena to take part in the County Dance Festival. This festival celebrates dance across schools in Hertfordshire.
