A bone shaking class assembly from Maple Class Maple Class shared their knowledge of Skeletons, muscles and nutrition with the rest of the school this morning. William Ransom Race for Life! Yesterday, the School Council members and Orbit team organised the very first William Ransom Race for Life event, and it was a roaring success! Maple Class at the Fitzwilliam Museum Today, Maple class visited the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge to support both their History and Art learning. Magnificent Mountains in Maple Class Maple Class have been learning all about mountains in Geography this term. Sports Day 2017 We held our annual Sports Day on Friday 30th June. The day began with a rhythmic gymnastics display. KS1 races took place in the morning followed by KS2 races in the afternoon. Today Beech Class received a pizza making master class at Pizza Express in Hitchin. Lacrosse Team return home as 2017 National Lacrosse Final Plate Winners Last Sunday, our lacrosse team competed at the 2017 National Lacrosse Finals in Sheffield. It was a long day and the children returned home with a well-deserved trophy. Let's Get Cooking! This year's Let's Get Cooking Club have enjoyed making lots of delicious dishes. Sports Day postponed Sports Day has been postponed today 28th June 2017, the field is too wet. Pizza, Pizza, Get Your Pitta Pizza Here! Not content with making their own pitta pizzas, Beech Class also made the pizza boxes! Secondary Transition for Year 6 Today, PHASE visited William Ransom to conduct a workshop with our year six pupils. The aim was to prepare them for their upcoming transition to secondary school. Information from Mrs Driver Many of you have commented on our lovely new playground markings! William Ransom Summer Fete On Saturday 10th June we held our annual Summer Fete. The weather was beautiful and we had a record number of people attend. We raised in excess of £6000 which is an amazing amount. Thank you to everyone who came! Information from Mrs Driver WOW!!
