Today was a complete contrast from yesterday, but in reality it was quite a relief! A New Experience Today! Everyone slept well and we had to ‘encourage’ a few to wake up this morning! Caernarfon in the Sunshine! It was interesting to see how many more children needed to be woken this morning after all the exercise yesterday! There were quite a few bleary eyes as they all came down to breakfast but soon woke up as they tucked into a hearty breakfast! What an amazing day! I am writing this blog a little earlier tonight as all is quiet in the house, even though it is only 8.00pm! Greeting from Wales It is frightening how quickly time passes and here we are, once again, in Snowdonia. We had a wonderfully uneventful journey; no-one even mentioned feeling slightly off colour! Holly and Cedar class made their own healthy breakfasts today. Maple visit to the Fitzwilliam Museum On Thursday 10th May Maple class visited the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge. Completed weaving project in Oak class. The children in Oak class have completed their weaving project. Jupiter win the first year 3/4 Cup stacking competition After an exciting lunchtime competition, Jupiter emerged as the winners of our first year 3/4 inter-house cup stacking competition. When Willow met Brian! Today Willow Class visited the Airbus Foundation Discovery Space Centre and met Brain the prototype Mars Rover. Girls Win Wix County Cup The William Ransom Primary School completed the cup double this week, as the Girls’ football team won a thrilling County Final. Life cycles in Oak class The children in Oak class have been learning about life cycles. Maple Class Assembly Maple class had their class assembly recently and were able to share their knowledge about South Africa. Time for Compassion UK Willow Class have been very busy over the Easter holidays raising money for the children that we sponsor through Compassion UK. British Science Week Waste and Recycling Assembly As part of British Science Week, today's assembly was hosted by Monika from Amey and focused on waste and recycling. Mexican food Holly and Cedar have been learning about Mexico in their Geography lessons. World Book Day-dressing up! Holly had a fantastic time dressing up as their favourite book characters for World Book Day. World Book Day Assembly On Wednesday 28th February Holly Class performed an Assembly about World Book Day. Heroes on the Runway The recycling superheroes strutted their stuff for the school on their fashion runway. Eat your heart out Paris, London and New York Fashion Week! Recycled Fashion Heroes Willow Class spent Thursday making their recycled fashion superhero costumes and then performed a fashion show to the whole school on Friday! Holly Class investigate houses in D&T Holly Class have been investigating houses in their D&T lessons.
