In our Science lessons we have been looking at animals, including humans. We have been learning all about different animals, where they live and what they need to survive.
Last week, we were very lucky to have a six-week old baby come in to visit us. The children had all written their questions down and were ready to find out lots about looking after a baby.
Everyone was very quiet and excited about seeing the baby. The children asked lots of interesting questions and listened very carefully to the answers. We got to see the baby lying on his tummy and he showed us how he was starting to be able to lift his head. The children then recorded their answers accurately and are in the process of developing a guide for looking after a baby using their ICT skills.
We all had a great afternoon and learnt lots about the importance of looking after a baby!
