We have been learning all about different animals and their habitats this half term. We started off with a walk to the nature area where we saw the different minibeasts we can find in our school grounds. We used magnifying glasses to have a closer look at what we found.
Last Wednesday, we were lucky enough to have a visit in school from Amey Zoo. Mark, our animal expert, brought in lots of interesting and unusual animals for us to see. Some of us were even brave enough to touch them! Mark knew lots of facts about the animals so we learnt a lot. We were also extrememly lucky as we got to meet some 'animal superstars' – two of his animals have both starred in films!
We had a very informative afternoon and now know lots of unusual facts about these animals!
