What a great day of activity for reception and Key Stage One classes. With a fantastic group of parents to support the teachers and teaching assistants, the children rotated to five different activities during the day.
Every class had done indoor athletics in their PE lessons, so this was an opportunity to have an inter-class competition to find out the top athletes in the various events.
Speed stacking was an opportunity to excercise both sides of their brain. Orienteering was a team building, problem solving experience. Dance was a great opportunity to learn something new and perform together and the art session was used to finish off paintings from the Kandinsky day or to try out some Banksy ideas.
