Another fantastic winter fete at William Ransom!

To everyone’s delight, it snowed overnight and felt very Christmasy and cold in the morning.

Shame everything melted quickly, but a bit of a thaw didn’t damp our Christmas spirits and The William Ransom School welcomed lots of visitors on the day who enjoyed shopping experience in the Secret Present Room, at Christmas and Gifts stalls; browsed through second-hand and soft toys; played at New Toy Tombola, Human Fruit Machine and Bottle Tombola; had a go at guessing Stuart’s birthday, making a badge and decorating a biscuits.

The LED/glow-in-the-dark stall was extremely popular!

And the raffle hampers were absolutely amazing!

Santa visited the school and children enjoyed a train ride before Santa read a story to them.

The Winter Wonderland was another great success. In total £5,000 was raised, this is a fantastic achievement and a reflection of all the time and effort we all – parents, school staff and visitors – put in to help raise money to benefit our children.

Thank you everyone who came and made it a fun event!

It does not go unrecognised the time it takes to wrap presents, co-ordinate the various stalls, make all the amazing gifts, provide lunch, etc.

Huge thanks to everyone who helped before, during and after the event. Without your help and support we would not have had such a wonderful day!

Have a great Christmas!
