Ash Class Autumn Term 2019 January 6, 2020January 6, 2020 It’s been a busy term… look at what we have been up to. We had a great time at Wimpole. Off the coach and time for a snack.Lots to see in the Chapel.Lunchtime!Time to explore the farm play area. The pigs were a little bit smelly! Off to the house.Up the huge staircase to see how the affluent family lived. We had been reading the story of The Little Red Hen and decided to bake our own bread. Busy kneading the bread.Everyone had their own ball of dough.Look at the lovely baking Ash class made. We have been busy keeping fit and active. We especially liked getting out the apparatus and travelling in different ways. We used leaves and twigs we collected to create some environmental art in the style of Andrew Goldsworthy. Each group came and added to the class creation. We joined in with Children in Need We listened to a story all about Pudsey. We had a visit from the Road Safety lady and she reminded us all how to cross the road safely. Always listen to the Lollipop Person. As Christmas drew near we e were very busy! We made Christingles. We had Santa’s Grotto as our Role Play.We went to see the pantomime Snow White in Welwyn.
