A bright and breezy afternoon with a few showers but nothing stands in the way of football!
The William Ransom A and B teams went to Our Lady for their matches tonight. For the A-team this was a League game, for the B-team a 'friendly'.
An early goal from Our Lady woke everyone up, however it was not long before Ben equalised with a powerful shot. Our Lady broke through the William Ransom defence to score a second and helped William Ransom soon after with a deflection and an own goal, 2-2. Both teams continued to battle but Our Lady scored a third goal just before half time.
The second half saw Tommy in goal and Oliver move to an up-front position. Our Lady played well and scored again but so did Archie and Ben soon after, to make it 4-4. Unfortunately Our Lady just had that extra advantage of being a team that plays together in and out of school and manged to score two more goals to give them a 6-4 win.
