Beech Class visit Verulamium Museum and Welwyn Roman Baths

As part of our History unit of work on the Romans, Beech Class went to Verulamium Museum in St Albans.  First we looked around the museum finding out lots of information about how the Romans lived.  Then we had a workshop where we were able to handle different Roman artefacts.  We had to try to work out what the objects were and what they were used for.

In the afternoon we visited Welwyn Roman Baths.  We were told how Romans used to bathe.  We were able to play some Roman games and  dress up in Roman clothes.
