Cedar Class have been so excited all week about Firework Night!
In class we have been discussing and learning all about Guy Fawkes. The children have learnt a lot about who he was and why he is remembered every year.
This afternoon the children practised their cutting skills, creating exciting lines from a cardboard tube to form their firework. The children then chose the colours they wanted to use and worked carefully to put the paint on their page without causing too many smudges – something that is very tricky when you have lots of wet paint on a page!
The children were very pleased with their finished pieces and decided that, as they were so colourful, we should display them around the classroom… once they are dry!
