Class 1R visited Shuttleworth this week as part of their History work. They have been learning about the oldest aeroplanes and the first aeroplane flight in this country. So far, the children have learnt about Samuel Cody and his work on the early aeroplanes. They are about to study Amy Johnson and her solo flight to Australia.
