Our girls football team did incredibly well this weekend. They went to the County finals, where they played a league format, winning both of their matches to top the league.
They then had to play a final against the team in second place. This was an incredibly well fought match and was level at 1-1 for most of the game. Unfortunately we conceded a late goal and we were unable to find an equaliser, despite lots of effort. Reaching a County final is a huge achievement for the girls and they made us all feel very proud.
They will now begin their journey in the Wix Cup, this Friday, at home to Our Lady. Please come and show your support for them after school, on the field.
