The dance girls have been working extremely hard since September on a dance for entry into a regional competition.
Girls from Year 5/6 have given up many lunchtimes to come and learn the piece and worked incredibly hard on their timing and technique.
Yesterday, we travelled to The Gordon Craig Theatre in Stevenage to take part in the competition. This was the first time the school had entered this competition so we didn’t know what to expect. The girls had the chance to have a run through on the stage and got to watch lots of other Primary and Secondary schools dance. They then made their way backstage to their dressing room to finish getting ready – it was very exciting!!
Unfortunately, the girls didn’t make it through to the next round however they all gave an amazing performance and they should all be extremely proud! They walked onto the stage and gave their best group performance so far! Miss Vivian is very proud of every single one of them for their confidence and brilliant performance!
