In DT we made a range of puppets. We went to Luton Library theatre to see a production of The Very Hungry Caterpillar. It featured 75 puppets and was actually 4 stories in one by the author and illustrator Eric Carle. We saw retellings of: The artist who painted a blue horse, Mister Seahorse, The Lonely Firefly and The Very Hungry Caterpillar. In art, we had a go at creating Eric Carle inspired artwork using collage techniques. We then showed the school what we had been learning in our Puppet themed Class Assembly the following week!
