Forget OS Maps and SAT Nav – try these!

In geography, Class 3/4 has been working on their mapping skills by looking at aerial views of towns and villages and their mapped equivalent. To hone their skills the class went on a field trip to Highbury Road and mapped the complex road layout – with great results!

The success criteria for each small group was to accurately sketch the road layout, mark on the street names and any obvious landmarks.

They all did a great job and very carefuly noted down everything they could see. Some groups even made up their own symbols for the landmarks.

So scrap your SAT nav and use one of these maps to find your way around.

Many thanks to our adult helpers – we wouldn't have been able to do it without you!
