Harvest Festival

We had a wonderful Harvest Festival this morning with a fantastic array of fruit and vegetables.

The assembly gave the whole school a chance to come together, to sing some hymns and to celebrate the meaning of Harvest.

Mrs Driver, with the help of Mrs Grundon and Mrs Mills, put together a Harvest Rainbow using some of the fruit and vegetables brought in by the pupils.

We then discussed what a rainbow is and why they are seen in the sky.

All of the produce was then arranged into hampers and raffled off to people in school. We made up 38 hampers and raised £240 to go to families struggling in our local community.

Thank you to everyone who brought produce in to everyone and who bought raffle tickets.
