I finally got inside!!

I finally got inside!!

Today was the day I had been waiting for when I was finally allowed inside our new building and could start to see what it was all going to be like!

After work had finished for the day, Ian Hankin and I went inside our new building with Jack Wells, our site manager. Mr Philipson and Mr Burrows were as excited as me to see what it was like and none of us were disappointed! The rooms all seem very large and airy. The light upstairs is amazing and the views across the grounds are spectacular!

Yes, there is still a lot to be done, but I have every faith that Willmott Dixon will deliver and by September we will have a complete, fully functional new classroom block! I am delighted with the size of the rooms, the space in the Activity Studio and circulation areas.

I am intrigued to see how the next few weeks pan out! Once we start to get paint on the walls and carpets and furnishings the whole area will come alive.

The building will undergo a lot of different transformations but I will try to keep you up to date with what is happening. Today was just the beginning!
