Today I visited the new build again and was given my own hat as part of their health and safety measures!
Mrs Brown, Mrs Light, Miss Ayliffe and Mrs Wheat came with me and we all kitted ourselves out in sensible shoes, hi – vis jackets and hard hats and entered the new building!
Everyone was really excited to see the light and airy classrooms and the space we have in the building. They were choosing which classrooms they wanted and trying to imagine what it would be like in the new classrooms.
There is a lot of work being done on the interiors and the scaffolding is going up on the outside as the windows start to get put in.
It certainly helped everyone realise that all the work we are doing at the moment, packing boxes and clearing shelving is going to be worth it in the end!
