Information from Mrs Driver

Thank you for the amazing response to The Winter Wonderland. It looks like we have made around £4000 which is absolutely fantastic and will certainly help support the on-going ICT upgrade across the whole school. We all had a fantastic day and we are very grateful for the support we received from all of you!

We have noticed a number of children arriving late for school – i.e. after 8.45. The doors will be put on the key pads after 8.45 so all pupils will have to enter school via the school office. We understand that in most cases it is not the children’s fault, so please help them by ensuring all children are in the playground before 8.45am.

We would be very grateful if you are sending money into school for various reasons, it would help us enormously if you could send the correct amount. We do not keep money on site; therefore we do not have any change! Thank you.

I would also like to remind everyone that we are a ‘nut free’ environment. Please ensure any cakes or sweets brought into school for birthdays are nut free for the protection of children with severe allergies. This is also important regarding the contents of lunch boxes. If your child has a packed lunch, please ensure the food you are sending represents a balanced meal and does not contain sweets or chocolate.

Don’t forget we have a long weekend coming up this weekend. School is closed to everyone this Friday – 28th November as our occasional day. School is also closed on Monday 1st December to all pupils as we have an INSET Day. I hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Yours sincerely
Mary Driver
