Information from Mrs Driver

Dear Parents,

As we start upon the last half term of this academic year, I thought I would remind you of some of the events coming up this term:

Please remember it is the summer fete on Saturday 6th June 11.00am to 4.00pm. We hope that the sun will shine for us as this is our main fundraising of the year. Please come along and lend a hand on a stall if you have time or if not please come along and support the event. Our theme is ‘Star Wars’ so come along and get in the spirit and enjoy the day with us all.

The following Monday (8th June) Classes 5/6 are holding their annual Coffee Morning for Compassion. This is open to everyone from 10.30am and we would love to see you there!

The final uniform order for this academic year will be placed on Monday 15th June 2015. All order forms need to be returned by Thursday 11th June 2015. However there will be uniform shops held on Monday 8th June and Monday 6th July 2015 for people to buy the uniform currently in stock.

In September we will be looking for some new parents to come in and help prepare the fruit for Key Stage 1 classes. This is a short task, lasting 10 – 15 minutes and if we have enough parents you may only be needed 1 day a week. If you think you could help us, please come and see Mrs Massey or Mrs Hopcraft.
We are also looking for a parent to take on the running of our Scholastic Book Orders. This is a fantastic way to keep our school library stocked up and we rely very heavily on parental support for this. Again if you think you could help, please come and see Mrs Massey or Mrs Hopcraft.

Please remember we have children in school with severe nut allergies. Please help us to keep the school a ‘nut free environment.’

If there is anything you wish to discuss with me, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours sincerely
Mary Driver
