Information from Mrs Driver

Deputy Headteacher
I am delighted to tell you that following a rigorous recruitment process we have appointed Sian Ayliffe as the new Deputy Headteacher from September 2016. Miss Ayliffe has worked at the school for a number of years and is the ideal person to work alongside me to lead the school into its new era. I am sure you will all join me in congratulating Miss Ayliffe on this well- deserved promotion.

Reception Teacher
I am also now in the position to be able to tell you that our new Reception Teacher from September 2016 will be Miss Sarah Barnett. Miss Barnett is an experienced teacher, having taught in Oxford for a few years before working in Rwanda. She has now returned to the UK to resume her teaching career and is pleased to join our team at such an exciting time for the school.

Cleaner
We are looking for a cleaner to work in school for 2 hours a day, 3.30 – 5.30. If you are interested or you know someone who might be, please contact school and have a chat with Mr Burrows.

Mid-day supervisor
We also have a vacancy for a mid-day supervisor with Mrs Grundon leaving us at Easter. If you think you might be interested in this please come in and talk to us.

Marathon man
I thought you would like to know that Mr Maranian is running 2 half marathons in aid of Alzhiemer's Society. This is an extremely worthwhile cause and if you would like to support him his donation page is: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/PerryMaranian

Easter holiday
Please remember our Easter holiday timings are a little unusual this year. The School is closed on Friday 25th March and Monday 28th March. We are then open for 4 days and then finish for the 2 week break on 1st April.

Please remember if you have any concerns about your child at school, do not hesitate to come in to see me. I look forward to seeing you in school in the very near future.

Yours sincerely
Mary Driver
