KEEP CALM Your school Needs You!

2019 is already proving to be an interesting, yet challenging year!

There are new initiatives all the time and the local authority and government are continually moving the goal posts. On top of all of that there is a new Ofsted framework in the offing!

We are also hampered by our financial situation and I would like to thank all of you who have paid your curriculum enrichment money. This makes a great difference. There is still time to pay, if you haven’t already done so.

However, perhaps there is another way you can help… Do you have a skill or a trade that we use / need in school? Could you help us out?

At the moment a parent manages our school website but his child is now moving towards the top of the school. He has managed the website for almost 7 years and we are extremely grateful for all he has done. I would be very interested in talking to anyone with website expertise to see how you could help!

We are also planning a Saturday morning gardening session. Could you come and assist with this? No expert knowledge needed here, just a willingness to get involved!

If any of this resonates with you please come and talk to us. Mr Carmody is leading the gardening and practical skills volunteers and I would be very pleased to make contact with anyone about the School Website.

School crossing patrol

This is just to let you know there will be no school crossing patrol for the afternoon shift on Friday 25th January 2019. Please ensure the children are not left to cross Wymondley Road by themselves.
