Dear Parents,
Looking back over the last few months it certainly has been an eventful time, with a number of superb events that would not have been possible without the help of all of you and the wonderful team on the SPA.
We have had a Family Fun Day, Race Night and the Winter Wonderland, raising around £8,500 between them and a huge amount of fun and laughter for the adults and the children along the way. What an incredible school and body of parents that can raise so much money for the benefit of all the children.
Mrs Driver has been looking at areas around the school that this money could help improve and part of the plan is to revamp the outside areas; this will include areas of artificial grass, increasing the play areas and some additional play equipment to benefit all the children. In addition to this, the school has just replaced all of the laptops meaning a whole class can work off a laptop with updated software, including Windows 10.
So all the hard work we all put into to making these events a success is worth it when you see the improvements we can make to enhance the children’s time at William Ransom.
With only a few days left of the term Christmas is nearly upon us and on behalf of all the members of the SPA we would like to wish every parent a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
We look forward to seeing you all again next term when we will have a full list of the up and coming events to entertain you and help raise funds for the school.

We are also looking for a chairperson from the parents at the school and whilst I am pleased to be able to help as the interim chair this important role should be one a parent holds. If you would like to find out more I would be happy to discuss further.
