Outdoor Activities

Chestnut Class had fun while taking part in outdoor team-building activities.  They had the opportunitty to build dens, build fires and play team games.

Perseverance was the main lesson when it came to starting a fire but several groups managed to get flames by working together to block out the wind.

Den building saw a huge range in shapes and sizes.  Much discussion was needed at the planning stage with some groups needing patience when it came to listening to all of the ambitious ideas.

The team games provided much laughter but their cooperation and helpful natures shone through and the teams which supported each other the most were always the winners.

Many thanks to the Enrichment Team from all of the children in  Chestnut Class.  We thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and learnt lots.
