The fiercely contested Annual Pancake Race was run on Shrove Tuesday.
Runners from each house and each year group competed for the glory of coming first! The whole school descended onto the bottom playground to watch this annual event. 4 year 3 boys were the first to run and as Mrs Driver started the race off they flew! They handed over to Year 3 girls and then it was the Year 4’s turn!
The pancakes had to be tossed on each corner (with a few landing on the floor!)
The year 6 girls finished the race and we saw Jupiter coming home first!
It was a great race with everyone taking it all within the spirit it was meant!
