It was Pirate Day in Ash Class today and they did a fantastic job of dressing up for the occasion.
There was a whole day of pirate-themed activities, and the children (and Mrs Driver!) enjoyed finding out their pirate nicknames, which ranged from 'Buccaneer Hornswoggle' to 'Scally Blackbeard'!
It turned out that even pirates have to do tricky maths and great writing, but in the afternoon they sang pirate songs and did pirate dances. Mrs Stephenson even made them walk the plank! Luckily there was a cool refreshment for the busy pirates.
Well done Ash Class, you were fearsome (yet still well-behaved) round school today!
