School Council sell Red Noses and organise non-uniform day for Comic Relief

This year the School Council decided to raise money for Comic Relief by selling Red Noses. On Friday 8th March members of the school council went round to all the classes in the school and sold Red Noses to the children for £1.

We also asked Mrs Driver if we could have a non-uniform day on Friday 15th March to raise even more money for Comic Relief. On Friday 15th children across the school came to school in their own clothes and paid £1 for the pleasure. Some children tried to dress in red, while others wore their red noses or hairbands with the Comic Relief monsters on them.

Mrs Driver also held an assembly telling us how the money we had raised would help other children across the world.

As a school we managed to raise a fantastic £533.
The School Council would like to thank you all for your support!
