Dear Parents
The 6th of June may seem far, far away, but it’s fast approaching. So we’re writing to you today to ask for your help to ensure this year’s summer fete is another huge success.
Firstly Rachel and Debs are looking for donations for the raffle. This is always the biggest fundraiser of the day, and we rely on all your kind contributions. So are you, or someone you know, able to donate a prize to the raffle? Each year we try to have a few big prizes, but we welcome anything no matter the size or the value.
Secondly, it’s never too early to start donating bottles/cans for the tombola or any second hand toys. The donations box in the reception foyer is there throughout the year, so if you happen to be spring cleaning in the next few weeks then please do keep us in mind!
Lastly, would you like to nominate an individual or group to perform in the main arena on the day of the fete? If so, please let me know as we’re always open to suggestions. You can leave a message for me at reception or through the book bags.
If you’re a star wars fan, then this year’s fete will be right up your street. We are planning a fancy dress parade for both the children and the adults, and there will be a small prize for everyone who enters. But if you don’t like star wars, don’t be put off as there will be plenty on offer for everyone.
