Dear Parents,
Hope you all enjoyed the Easter Holidays!
The SPA at present consists of 12 parents and 2 staff members, at the end of this academic year we will say thank-you and goodbye to some of our existing SPA members.
To continue the work of the SPA we do need new members to join.
The SPA organises and runs a multitude of events throughout the year to help raise money for the School. These are fun events for all the family and nights out for parents.
Money raised at these events is then spent on various projects: an extension to the new outdoor environment play area (2014), the installation of the IT walls, coaches for theatre visits, inviting an artist to work with children and much more.
What do SPA members do?
Each year we organise around 7 events, this year it looked like this

• Organise Tea & Coffee at Parents evenings and Sports Day
• Help keep in order our Green Tins which sit behind the school hall
• Meet parents and teachers and help keep the fundraising going for the children.
We meet on a Monday once a month at 8pm at the school to discuss upcoming events In between meetings we communicate by email and have a ‘Whats App’ group.
Everyone works together as a team on all events and it’s the fun that we have that makes these events go so well but we have to keep recruiting as the SPA does need new members.
