A Special Note from Mrs Driver:
Now we are almost at the end of the Spring Term we can reflect on all the exciting things that have happened this term!
Most classes have been on some wonderful trips, there have been some great sporting triumphs and some exciting experience days for everyone to appreciate. The work done after the Artist’s visits was amazing and I keep seeing new pieces of art I haven’t noticed before popping up all over the school.
We have spent a lot of time looking at ‘anti-bullying’ and we are really pleased with how well ‘the friendly force’ have been sorting out problems in the playground. There will always be little playground squabbles and it is great when you can sort them out yourselves. However, if you are upset or worried by something or worried then there is always someone you can talk to in school, remember a problem shared is a problem halved!
We are now looking forward to the exciting things that happen in the summer term. The weather is starting to warm up so we will be able to get out onto the field and start making use of our new outdoor classroom. We have the summer fete to look forward to and the Year 6 will be going to North Wales for a week on their school journey.
I hope everyone has a lovely Easter break and I look forward to seeing you all back to school on Wednesday 23rd April 2014!
