There has been some wonderful art done in school this year and this was our opportunity to celebrate the great work going on across the school.
Walsworth Baptist Church held an Art Competition based on the theme ‘Peace Channel’ which we felt was very challenging.
All classes discussed the subject and the children came up with some great ideas which related to the over-riding them of peace.
Every child’s piece of art was displayed in the church, along with four other schools, and we took the whole school down to the church to see the finished result.
The results were amazing and we were delighted to find out that we had come first in both key stages and 3rd in Key Stage 1. Well done to Evie, Thomas and Josephine!
