Wow! What an amazing day we had on Saturday!

We were incredibly lucky with the weather on Saturday, the worst of the rain came at 10.30 and didn’t last too long and then in steadily got better! The sun came out, everyone went out onto the field and it was a lovely afternoon. There are still some expenses to come in but it is looking like we have made around £5750 which is absolutely amazing! We are hopeful this will increase with Matched Funding from parents who work for organisations who offer this and it certainly helps to boost our funds.

As always we are careful how we spend the money but immediate projects that come to mind are: the continuous upgrade of ICT equipment across the school, we are looking to increase the number of ipads, and we would also like to develop the nature area of the field. This will involve some matched funding from Groundworks but we will need to be able to buy the materials.

Thank you to everyone who came along to help out on the day and to those who came along and supported the event. It is one of our major events of the year so I am extremely grateful to everyone who played their part. I would also like to thank the SPA committee for their work in putting the whole event together. They are an amazing group of people and I am delighted that all their hard work paid off.
