As you may be aware, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force on 25th May 2018, which will affect how we hold and process personal data.
The SPA Committee have previously retained contact details about parents who have volunteered at events, purchased merchandise, or provided donations (such as cakes from the bakers bank). Now we will maintain a secure and centralised contacts register for the SPA Committee to inform parents about volunteering and donation opportunities with those who express an interest.
This includes information such as your name, email address, telephone number and children you have at the school. We will hold your contact details for no longer than the duration of your child’s school life at William Ransom, unless you choose to opt out beforehand. We will not share your information with third parties unless you explicitly ask us to.
Your continued support and generous donations have helped to raise over £14,000 this school year. These phenomenal funds have provided digital equipment, coach trips, playground markings, artist days and other activities your children enjoy.

Kindly note, the new contacts register replaces any previous lists used in the past so please make sure you complete the form if you were on other lists.
