Year 5 Mash Club

On Tuesday lunchtimes, some of our Year fives have been participating in ‘Mash Club’ – a computing club with an E-Safety and coding focus. They began by exploring ‘Interland’, an adventure-packed online game that puts the key lessons of digital citizenship and safety into hands-on practice. They reviewed some of the games to share with their classmates. They really enjoyed them!

Then the children followed complex instructions to begin building some ‘Robokids’ which they will begin to programme after half term. They showed resilience and perseverance when diagnosing and solving any problems with their robot. They were really pleased with how they have progressed and can’t wait to see what we can programme them to do.
