A busy Autumn Term comes to an end!

The children have been enjoying learning in lots of different ways- in adult directed time and Discover and Do.

The children enjoyed joining in with Children in Need activities. They also learnt about the important role charities make to communities and those in need.

Adult directed time saw the children investigating different shapes they could make using only 5 cubes. Could they find all possible combinations? Some chose to continue their investigating in their Discover & Do time.

The children were lucky enough to have a parent come in and talk to them about how their family celebrates Diwali. The children got to ask questions and even try a traditional sweet that is eaten at Diwali celebrations.

Time outside allowed the children to investigate the ice they had found. They decided to collect it all and put it in a bucket. It was then checked on to see how long it took to melt!

Others enjoyed the time to create a tunnel for the cars to use. Which cars travelled the furthest when they left the tunnel?

The children met the BeeBots and programmed them to move along the track. They are looking forward to using them more and more and finding out what else they can do!

..and of course there was The Nativity. The children sang, danced and acted the story beautifully- all in front of a fantastic audience!
