Road and Travel Safety

The safety of our pupils when travelling to and from school is of utmost importance. We encourage families to walk, scoot or cycle to school where possible to avoid heavy traffic congestion in the nearby roads, and to promote a healthy and active lifestyle whilst being conscious of the environment.

Scooter and bike storage is available for pupils.

Road safety is taught in school at all ages, and we engage with many initiatives such as Road Safety Week, Be Bright Be Seen and Bikeability cycle training, to name just a few. Here are some links with further information:

A final note, if you must drive, please do not park on corners or blocking driveways, and be aware of how busy it can be at the start and end of the school day. Please use Stuart Drive as a one-way street and drive through the school carpark to get out. It is important that all motorists adhere to this system.
