A great end to a fantastic half term!

The children have enjoyed our last week of traditional tales, exploring the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears and all enjoying a spoonful of porridge that was neither hot nor cold but “just right!”

Discover & Do has been full of learning as always. It’s been wonderful to have a little bit of sun and the children continue to explore their interests and curiosities and apply what they have learnt in class.

This week we’ve seen lots of collaborative work in the creative area. It’s great to see the children sharing ideas and working together.

In the construction and small world areas the children have been challenged to make chairs for the three bears and act out the story.

The children love to colour and draw and we have tables in both classrooms dedicated to this.

The children were inspired by some tarpaulin to build an amazing den.

Our colourful ribbons seemed like a perfect addition to the outdoor area after all our Lunar New Year celebrations and the beautiful sunshine.

Lots of outdoor learning in the sunshine

Investigating birds and practising our tricky words

Marvellous maths!
