The weather has finally turned and autumn is officially here. We’ve been doing a lot of learning about harvest and the changing seasons in our whole class time and it has been fantastic to see the children explore these topics in their own learning time.
The children have also been keen to explore using different media to create pictures inspired by artist Alma Thomas, who we learnt about in a whole class session.

The children have been busy builders in the Outdoor Construction Area, building all sorts from swimming pools to trains
We’ve been enjoying all sorts of creations in the Texture Kitchen. The addition of conkers attracted lots of children to the kitchen to explore how they could be mixed, mashed and used in their play.

Children have explored minibeasts in the Nature Area and recorded their findings by making marks and drawing pictures
