Today, we celebrated the festival of Diwali at our school with two special assemblies for Key Stages 1 and 2. We learnt about the significance of Diwali for the Hindu and Sikh communities. Some of our children were kind enough to share how they and their families mark and celebrate this wonderful holiday. We got to see their beautiful outfits, as well as photos of them dancing, enjoying fireworks, and spending time with their families and friends. The children spoke beautifully, and it was lovely to have some of our parents come to watch.
