This week in our lesson time we have looked at freezing and melting. Mrs Kholodenko and Mrs Gunn had a visit from the Evil Pea and discovered Supertato in their freezer. It was down to Ash and Oak to free him!
We talked about how things become frozen and then we discussed how we could free Supertato. Breaking the ice was going to take a very long time so we decided to melt it. We talked about how ice melts and predicted what would melt the ice the quickest. We used our hands, cold water, hot water, salt and sugar.
Everyone was relieved when we managed to free Supertato! The following day we wrote up our science experiment in our Shared Writing Book.
