This year we have bought into the Herts School Sports Partnership which allows William Ransom to enter lots of exciting competitions and festivals within sport across this academic year.
This morning, a group of super keen KS1 children from Years 1 and 2 took on the mission of representing William Ransom at the 1st of these events – a KS1 Multi sport festival at Whitehill School!
Ourselves, along with four other local schools, took part in a brilliant morning of sport led by some excellent sports’ leaders from Year 6. Our group moved between five activities, all with the purpose of trying the sports, keeping fit and having fun.
Everyone worked exceedingly hard, especially as our morning also included the walk to and from Whitehill. Their behaviour and manners were fantastic, as was their ‘can do attitude’ and their boundless energy and positivity. Myself and Mr Thrasher were very proud of them – well done!
