KS1 visit Whipsnade Zoo!

On Tuesday 30th June all four Key Stage One classes visited Whipsnade Zoo.  It was a fantastic day despite the soaring temperatures.  The children in Class 1R got to see lots of animals and were lucky enough to take part in an educational session called 'Colours of the Zoo'.  They learnt about meerkats, lions and zebras and how they are designed to blend in with their surroundings.

The children also saw penguins, lemurs, chimps, bears, tigers, sea lions, elephants, rhinos and giraffes.  They enjoyed eating their lunch outside (in the shade of course!) and Mrs Tite was very impressed with their behaviour throughout the day.  Here are some photos from the trip.
