The children have enjoyed learning all about Lunar New Year this week.
The week ended with a visit from a parent who talked about why Chinese New Year is important to their family and how they will be celebrating. They gave all the children a lucky red envelope and a fortune cookie!
They enjoyed looking at and making Chinese lanterns, making the dragons dance and trying on the lovely red and gold jackets.
Some children, independently, chose to create their own dragons during Discover & Do, while others had a go at writing Chinese numbers.
