Public Health COVID-19 Webinar for Young People
A recording of the LIVE Young People’s COVID-19 webinar is now available to view via the link below. It may be of interest to some of our older children.
The webinar addressed questions that have been raised by young people. The webinar panel included Professor Jim McManus, Herts Director of Public Health; Councillor Tim Hutchings, Cabinet Member for Public Health; Simon Newland, Education Operations Director, Hertfordshire County Council; and Liz Shapland, Deputy Education Services Director, Herts for Learning.

Online parenting groups relating to ADHD or parenting pre-teens/teens
Family Lives are delivering free onlie parenting groups during Covid-19 to support parents. The groups, funded by Herts County Council, are aimed at parents of :
· Pre Teens/Teens showing challenging behaviour and/or where there is a family first assessment, child in need or child protection plan
· Children with ADHD

Home Schooling Online Survey
Herts Parent Carer Involvement wants to hear from parents across Hertfordshire who have children aged 0 to 25 years with SEND about how they are managing during the lock down and closure of schools and other education settings. They will use your feedback to inform their on-going discussions with Herts County Council around what is working and what needs improving.
They are asking parents to find 5 minutes or so to complete the online survey which is open until 25th May.
