On Friday 30th November we were pleased to welcome our local MP Bim Afolami into William Ransom. Mrs Driver and Mr Hankin met with him in school and discussed our unique financial situation. He then went on a tour of the school where he visited every class and spoke to many of the children and teachers. He was very impressed with our facilities and recognised the hard work of the school and the SPA in raising funds to supplement school resources. He was also very impressed with the level of work going on in all classes, from Reception to Year 6.
Hopefully he understood some of our funding concerns and will remember them is discussions with HCC and the Treasury.
