Thank you to everyone who brought in a remote controlled toy for our computing lesson last week.
We had a great afternoon trying out all the amazing toys. There were talking and shooting robots, a voice activated dog, a wind up robot and all kinds of remote controlled vehicles – we even had a car which drove up the wall!
In Design and Technology, we are developing our skills ready to create our cross-stitch sewing project. The children have shown great perseverance whilst trying to thread their needles.
We have also started our new history topic ‘Pioneers of Flight’ and the children have started to learn all about the very first planes and the people who built them. To get us in the mood we are learning to sing ‘Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines!”
