Year 5 had a fantastic day for our Festival of Languages.
We were lucky enough to have three brilliant Mums come in to share their cultures with us and we learnt lots about India, South Africa and Spain. Thank you so much to you all!
We immersed ourselves in these cultures; we danced, learnt some of the language, sampled some delicious food and learnt a lot of new facts.
We also thought about the different languages we know of and it turns out between us we also speak a wide range.
We had a brilliant day exploring language and culture and feel very lucky to go to a school where we get to share in experiences such as these. A big thank you to everyone who helped organise and take part in our day!
