Aldenham Adventure

Year One had an amazing day visiting Aldenham Country Park today. First we knocked for Winnie the Pooh and his friends but unfortunately they were out for the day. We saw all their houses and even walked as far as the North Pole!

Then we split into four groups and rotated around different activities. We shook trees to find minibeasts – it’s amazing to think all those bugs are hiding in the trees above our heads! They also drew a map of the field marking on the different houses of Pooh’s friends. Then they joined in some parachute story games and finally made some beautiful wild flower bracelets.

After all that excitement it was time for lunch!

In the afternoon we walked through the farm. There were so many animals to see and hear. Lots of chickens roaming free, some muddy pigs, hairy alpacas, huge cows and some cheeky goats to name a few. A fantastic day, enjoyed by everyone!
