Become a scientist to celebrate British Science Week 2023!

British Science Week runs from Friday 10th March to Friday 17th March. Why not celebrate by using your scientific skills to carry out some experiments. There are lots of websites with ideas for experiments you can carry out at home. Here are a couple of suggestions to get you started.

Science Bob, an American scientist, has some great experiments on his website https://sciencebob.com/category/experiments/.

There are also some fun experiments at Science Sparks. https://www.science-sparks.com/10-of-the-best-science-experiments-for-kids/.

Why not take a photograph of your experiment and email it to Mrs Bassindale (b.bassindale@wransom.herts.sch.uk) who will put them on the website at the end of the week.

Don’t forget to ask permission from your parents or carers before carrying out any experiments or investigations.

You can also enter the British Science Week poster competition https://www.britishscienceweek.org/plan-your-activities/poster-competition/. Bring your poster into school and give it to Mrs Bassindale or Mrs Gunn.
