As a school we are managing this issue sensitively as we appreciate that all of our children have different levels of awareness and knowledge – due to their age, level of understanding and parental choice. Currently all classes are discussing the importance of hand washing and how to do this well. We have focused upon the work we do already to promote good personal hygiene. Children will be aware that this is something that adults talk about daily; we are continuing to encourage children to wash their hands after they have been to the toilet and before eating as well as all other opportunities. If you wish to send a small hand sanitiser into school with your child, please feel free to do so.
