Victorian Assembly

Holly class performed their class Assembly all about the Victorians. They did a fantastic job! They all spoke loudly and clearly and had learnt their lines very well.

KS1 Activity Day

We began the day with Indoor Athletics followed by Orienteering. After lunch it was time for Speed Stacking before ending the day learning a Lion King Dance routine. We all enjoyed the day!

Sense Detectives

We enjoyed using our five senses in this experiment to identify a missing teddy bear. We had to use the clues to work out which colour matched the description of the lost teddy and circle it on our sheet. The five circled colours then revealed the identity of the bear. Our Gruffalo Themed Class Assembly

We read and enjoyed The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson in our Literacy work. We also went to the Gordon Craig Theatre to see 'The Gruffalo Live On Stage' which we all enjoyed. After the Big Write on Fridays, Hazel Class enjoy getting creative with the toys! Our favourites are cars, Polly Pocket and the Doctors set.

Blast Off!

We enjoyed counting backwards in maths from 20 to 0. Our challenge was to complete the missing numbers on a section of rocket individually then find children with the same coloured pieces to build a rocket that counted down from 20 to 0. Great counting and teamwork! 

Eric Carle artwork and puppets project

In DT we made a range of puppets. We went to Luton Library theatre to see a production of The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
